Holy Spirit Catholic School Division is proud to announce that it has partnered with Nelson, Canada's leading educational publisher, on a documentary featuring the company's digital learning ecosystem, Edwin. The documentary, which will feature St. Michael's School in Bow Island, is part of the television series, "Information Matrix," hosted by Laurence Fishburne.

"Production will take place on Friday, November 8, 2019 and will include interviews with various members of the school community including the principal, teachers and students working with Edwin, parents, and myself," explains Superintendent Chris Smeaton. "We're looking forward to demonstrating how well Edwin works in our school division, especially for our rural schools."

Edwin was built to ensure all students have equitable access to high quality learning resources. Delivered in a 2-in-1 laptop, Edwin features a rich library of multimedia content tied to provincial curricula and best-in-class software partners. Visit edwin.nelson.com to learn more.

"We have some amazing staff that have been exceptional leaders in the implementation and use of Edwin since we began piloting it in 2018/19," states School Principal Chris Sumner. "So, I'm really excited that our school has been given the chance to showcase this resource internationally."

"Information Matrix" will air on PBS across 35 countries in early 2020.
